The Regional Chief Financial Officer is a key pillar of the executive leadership team. This strategic leader, with great charisma and strong communication skills, will play a key role in the company's technological transformation while ensuring excellence in financial practices across our Canadian hotel portfolio.

Job responsibilities
The role is divided into three main areas:
Management of accounting information systems
• Finance team leadership
• Centralized accounting management.

1. Management of accounting information systems
• Oversee and lead the rollout of the new Workday accounting system, ensuring that the defined timeline is met.
• Maintain and optimize existing accounting platforms, while ensuring their effective integration with new financial technologies.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure systems support strategic business objectives.
2. Financial Leadership
• Mentor and coach the Controllers and accounting staff of our Canadian unit, with a focus on skills development and performance optimization.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, establishing financial best practices and encouraging collaboration and innovation.
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure sound financial management, while encouraging informed decision-making.

3. Centralized Accounting Management
• Ensure that the centralized accounting program meets requirements in terms of compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Work closely with the teams to ensure effective management of cash, budgets and internal controls across the group's hotels.
• Oversee financial processes such as tax planning, cash management, and financial reporting, while maintaining seamless coordination between different divisions of the company.

Competence & Quality
Profile sought:
• Over 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in the hospitality industry or a multi-divisional company.
• Degree in finance or accounting; A CPA designation is a strong asset.
• In-depth proficiency in P&L, FP&A skills, including budgeting, financial forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Proven experience in managing accounting systems (ideally Workday), as well as budgeting processes, internal controls, business and tax planning, and cash management.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-potential finance teams.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
