Organizational Performance Consultant – Performance improvement

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Performance Improvement, the incumbent will contribute to the success of the department primarily by acting as the following: a) Consultant in operational, clinical and administrative process improvement; b) Champion in the search for innovative alternative solutions and in change management. The incumbent ensures that process improvement initiatives are efficient and aligned with Network expectations and priorities. This person manages work teams according to the objectives, deliverables and deadlines of the respective projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree in health sciences or applied science;
  • A graduate degree in a related field is an asset;
  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma certificate – Black Belt or Green Belt (Black Belt certification must be completed within two years of hire);
  • PMI certification is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the Agile approach is an asset;
  • A combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered;
  • Minimum of five years in process improvement or project management, change management or quality improvement;
  • Experience in health field is an asset;
  • Excellent skills using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio);
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills;
  • Sound judgment accompanied by listening, analysis, synthesis, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills;
  • Transformational leadership;
  • Ability to motivate and engage people and to act as a change agent;
  • Innovativeness and creative reasoning in the performance of duties;
  • Ability to advance several major projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to travel within Vitalité Health Network and the province;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network’s management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network’s confidentiality rules.
