Regional Manager of Cardiac Care

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Regional Director of Intensive Care and Internal Medicine, the Regional Manager of Cardiac Care plans, organizes and supervises the cardiovascular health programs within Vitalité Health Network (Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic, Heart Function Clinic, Atrial Fibrillation Clinic and Lipid Clinic).  This person evaluates and identifies the needs of the population served and participates in developing and updating programs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams. Is responsible for managing human and material resources and related equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in the health field;
• Management experience considered an asset;
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac health;
• Ability to set priorities;
• Proven communication skills;
• Active listening;
• Rigour;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
• Ability to innovate and solve problems;
• Keen interest in working with, developing and simplifying processes;
• Critical thinking to ask questions in support of best choices;
• Ability to monitor budgets in relation to commitments and to propose solutions;
• Adherence to the organization's continuous improvement principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
