The Opportunity

Tundra Process Solutions is currently seeking a Field Valve Technician - based out of our Edmonton Branch. Do you eat, sleep and breathe valves in various varieties? Are you a self-starter that has the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly? If yes, then you might just be who we're looking for.

The Role

  • Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves
  • Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves
  • On-site and over the phone/email troubleshooting for clients
  • Repair of ESD Valves and Components
  • In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves
  • Run lead on the Tundra Service Truck in Edmonton - this includes maintenance, upkeep and applicable paperwork
  • Pressure Testing
  • Forklift Operations

The Candidate

  • At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients via phone or email
  • Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Lives Tundra Core Values
  • Experience in pressure testing is preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operations Ticket
  • Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging
  • Small Crane Certificate is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
  • Must be local to the Edmonton area or willing to relocate
