Windigo Education Board serves over 400 students across four First Nations communities. Our schools provide quality education rooted in land-based teachings, activities, and values that support student growth through collaboration between school, family, and community.
About Cat Lake First Nation
Cat Lake is a vibrant Ojibway community located 79 kilometers north of Sioux Lookout in Northwestern Ontario. Situated on the picturesque shores of the Cat Lake river system, our community offers:

Qualifications
Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or eligible for membership
Experience working with Indigenous students preferred
Strong commitment to inclusive education and culturally responsive teaching
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Ontario curriculum standards
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues and community members to support student success
Participate in school and community events
