Wood is recruiting for a Principal Open Pit Mining Engineer to join its Minerals and Metals business focusing on large mining projects. This opportunity is Hybrid.

The Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Principal Open Pit Mining Engineer. This position is supporting our global Mining Project Development team, Ideally the Open Pit mining engineer would be located in Vancouver, Canada, but location can be discussed and can be a remote/hybrid work situation. This role will provide mine engineering and planning services, project management, and supervision of subordinates to support execution of open-pit mine projects.

• Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. Salary range for this position CAD 181,715 - 219,875 per year. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.
