About the role

In your role as Senior Network and Systems Administrator (cloud), you will play a key role in managing, optimizing and securing our network and systems infrastructures. You'll play a strategic role in guaranteeing the availability, performance and scalability of our technology platforms, while supporting the team in large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate is action- and solution-oriented, with good listening skills and a well-developed sense of customer service.

Responsibilities

Not limited to:

  • Infrastructure management: Design, deploy and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Windows/Linux servers, and cloud systems (AWS, Azure).
  • Security: Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices, including firewall management, data protection, and compliance audits.
  • Performance optimization: Analyze and improve system and network performance, while ensuring 24/7 availability.
  • Strategic projects: Actively participate in digital transformation projects (systems modernization, process automation).
  • Support and mentoring: Provide advanced level 3 technical support and mentor junior team members, while updating documentation on an ongoing basis.
  • Technology watch: Monitor new trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Attendance at work :
    • Be at the Saint-Hubert office a minimum of 2 days a week
    • Participate in on-call rotation with other team members.
  • All other related tasks.

What we are looking for

Training :

  • Diploma in business computing or equivalent, university degree an asset.
  • CompTIA A+ an asset.
  • ITIL an asset

Certifications : Certifications such as CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or CISSP are highly appreciated.

Experience :

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in network and systems administration and IT support.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience and proven expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Technical skills :

  • Management of Operating systems (Windows/Linux)
  • M365 platform administration
  • Virtualization (Proxmox)
  • Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Backup solutions (Veeam)
  • Advanced network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
  • Network security (firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS)

Environment: Good experience and interest in working in a small business environment.

Communication Skills : Excellent command of French and good knowledge of both spoken and written English.

On-call rotation : Ability to respond to after-hours support requests on a limited basis (on-call).
