Lambert & Co is a boutique located in Quebec City's iconic Château Frontenac. Specializing in niche sales of prestige Quebec and Canadian products, Lambert & Co relies on a team of some twenty sales consultants whose role is essential to the customer experience and the company's success. The manager's job at Lambert & CO is mainly to:
Perform sales tasks (50%);
Plan, organize, train, stimulate, support and supervise the team in accomplishing their tasks in order to meet sales objectives (30%);
Support management in all operational and administrative processes - respond to requests for information (20%);
Skills required :

Ability to communicate and establish a climate of trust with customers and employees;

Conflict management and resolution;
Dynamic and calm personality;
Ability to work as part of a team to achieve objectives;
Proficiency in office automation tools (Excel, Word, e-mail).
Schedule :
40 hours/week;
Variable hours depending on the activities to be carried out and needs; Shifts shared within the team to cover all opening hours, i.e. 7 days a week from 9:00 to 21:00;
Alternating shifts for public holidays.
Languages spoken :
French and English required;
Any other language will be an asset given the tourist clientele.
Working hours :

Tasks entrusted :
SALES
Reception and orientation of customers;
Sales management (sales transaction, payment, packaging, cashiering and cash deposit);
Handle product returns and exchanges in accordance with store policy;
Mastery of product history and construction;
Preparation and maintenance of displays and visual presentation;
Receiving merchandise, labeling and taking rebates;
Maintenance of sales area;
Achieving sales targets;
Any other task deemed essential to the sales process and the smooth running of the store.
MANAGEMENT
Management, support and supervision of the sales team, including :
Scheduling of sales associates;
Assigning and supervising specific tasks (stock management, inventory, shipping cost management, etc.).
Meeting sales targets;
Performance appraisal and coaching.
Recruiting;
Training;
Follow-up and reply to customer e-mails;
Documentation and evolution of procedures;
Management and preparation of online sales deliveries;
Management and preparation of special sales;
Responsible for boutique contributions to Château Frontenac sales and marketing events.
