Your mission:

Perform a strategic role by demonstrating strong leadership by supervising the crew and flight management team, planning training and integration activities, and managing process improvement projects.

Your activities:
  • Supervise and contribute to the development of a high performance team, responsible for planning flight schedules and crew allocation, setting clear expectations and supporting the development of the team members by providing effective coaching and support;
  • Ensure that processes are optimized and that all deliverables and related activities are completed on time, and that the quality of work is in line with expectations and defined objectives;
  • Plan and organize training for current pilots and new resources (logistics, accommodation, transport, simulators, etc.);
  • Develop, support and manage quality assurance and validation activities for all courses delivered;
  • Support the team of flight operations managers in the planning of staff requirements and ensure daily follow-up;
  • Support the chief pilots in welcoming and integrating new resources (communications, allocation of training, support on arrival and in finding accommodation, transportation, etc.) and coordinate with the human resources department;
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.

Requested skills

Your experience:
  • College diploma in an appropriate field (administration, logistics, project management, etc.);
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in scheduling, training and/or logistics;3 to 5 years' experience in flight operations or transportation, an asset;
  • Experience in personnel supervision, an asset;
  • Experience in a unionized environment, an asset;
  • Knowledge of TSA (Transportation Security Administration of USA) processes, an asset;
  • Knowledge of AIMS, FOS, CIRRO and Nabupro software, an asset;
  • Bilingualism.
