RECEPTIONIST

Our well-established client is looking for a candidate willing to fill their receptionist position as soon as possible. This is a full-time 6-months to 1-year contract.LOCATION: Dorval, Québec

SALARY: $20 per hour and according to experience

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, 35 hours per week

TASKS:

  • Answer phones in a friendly and pleasant manner.
  • Answer all incoming calls and handle inquiries whenever possible.
  • Redirect calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required.
  • Greet, assist and/or direct visitors and follow up with customers.
  • Distribute mail.
  • Create invoices, credit notes, and prepare for mailing.
  • Maintain client files in order.
  • Process credit card transactions.
  • Help maintain office equipment (i.e., photocopiers, postage machines).
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
  • Other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized and can work under pressure.
  • Ability to solve practical problems by applying analytical reasoning.
  • Must be able to work with a team.
  • Strong communication skills.

Requested skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluently bilingual in English and French (spoken)
  • Must have a minimum of Two years of related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and ACCPAC (an asset).

** As this position requires frequent interactions with an international audience, English is required and will be used daily at an advanced level.
