THE ROLEThe Physical Education Programs Manager plans, coordinates, manages, monitors, and evaluates the operations and delivery of the Physical Education (PE) programs. They initiate, develop, and recommend physical education activities, policies and directives. They analyze PE course content and amend curriculum and reference materials as well as advise on instruction and evaluation of PE courses. The incumbent coordinates and supervises Officer Cadets (OCdts) PE class registration and oversees the evaluation of OCdts and military staff in the areas of physical fitness.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or in a related field AND several years of experience in physical fitness, or in a related field
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In developing, planning and coordinating physical education programs
In developing curriculum and preparing teaching materials and outlines for courses
In physical fitness conditioning activities and resources management
In budget administration
In personnel administration
In applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
In preparing presentations
Competencies
