Java Full stack Developer

Note: Final round face to face at client location in Montreal, please share profiles only who are willing to attend face to face client interview

Role Description:

We have an immediate need in an experienced full-stack developer, who is strong in Java and Angular, knowledgeable in SQL and relational DBs, and familiar with document-oriented databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
Ideal candidates will have a multi-year, hands-on development experience, with an eye for quality and an emphasis on details, to help our highly skilled agile driven team to develop and maintain the next generation Institutional Lending platform, one of the most critical business lines of the Firm.

Role and Responsibilities:
Design and develop a high-performance, scalable platform to understand multiple Lending business lines.
Develop and maintain reusable and testable, backend and frontend components.
Be an active contributor of an agile squad ceremonies and practices.
Understand business requirements and responsibilities.

Required Skills:
10+ years of Java 11+ development experience in Spring-boot, and RESTful micro-services
Solid development experience in Angular web-applications.
Strong knowledge in T-SQL relational databases such as Sybase, DB2, or SQL-Server
Knowledgeable in document-oriented databases such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch
Fluent in English and has experience in client interaction.
Great communication skills.

Optional Skills:
Experience in Docker, Podman or Kubernetes
Development experience in financial institutions.
Experience in modern architecture and software development best-practices.
