About this opportunity:

The Husky Midstream, Manager, Business Services, Systems and Scheduling, Customer Service Operations is part of a participative leadership team where the individual is responsible for leading, managing and promoting the growth of a team of direct and indirect reports and aligning with the business’ strategic plan. The role is responsible for the management of customer service business systems, operational projects in provisioning commercial services and for the execution of scheduling movements and inventories of heavy crude oil, diluent and synthetics on the HMGP Systems.

What you’ll do:

  • Management of CSOS performance for business services, governance and development of business systems, associated processes, annual roadmap and budgets

  • Ensure day to day operations and scheduling are performed in a comprehensive and detailed manner

  • Consult and inform (RACI) across lines of business and associated management reporting

  • Manage supply and delivery across diverse assets, i.e. the Lloydminster Refinery, Upgrader, Connected Carriers and Trunklines

  • Working Leader ensuring day to day operations / scheduling are performed in a comprehensive / thorough manner

  • Manage and/or participate in restriction, curtailment or apportionment activities (gathering systems and terminals)

  • Participate, prepare and absorb new and/or changes to business, roll out concepts, scope and transition to in-service

  • Investigation and diagnostics, resolve issues and assess partner readiness

  • Develop training strategies, plan and design training materials; direct training for business users

  • Responsible for existing and new systems, requests and prioritization with business, IS in-house development/support team and internal/external parties

  • Owner of system change control/management, audit processes and point of contact for application related opportunities, issues and partner concerns

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • Minimum 12+ years of confirmed experience with a broad knowledge of pipeline systems operations and inventory management expertise

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business or Computer Science an asset

  • Proven experience of contributing to the success of a range of small to medium initiatives with escalating levels of complexity and business criticality

  • Value Management, Ability to conduct value assessments (costs/benefits/risks)

  • Business Analysis Professional or Systems Analyst Professional Certification considered an asset

  • Operational Research in the areas of quantitative modelling, optimization, computer modelling, systems thinking relating to energy and software development and/or advanced mathematical skills considered an asset
