What will your typical day look like?

There are no typical days! Working in Risk and Regulatory Consulting offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment, which presents you with the opportunity to continually grow and learn from people with different backgrounds and working styles. Your days will be filled with impact - professionally, socially, and personally. Professionally, you will synthesize and communicate complex analyses to senior executives for them to take effective action at their global organizations. Socially, you will work through exciting challenges with peers and colleagues, solving complicated and substantial problems. Personally, you will share your successes and learnings with colleagues that will expand your network and become colleagues for life.

As a consultant, you will focus on delivering strategy, advisory and data/technology solutions to Global and Canada’s pre-eminent organizations, around Regulatory Compliance, Financial Risk (Credit, Market, Liquidity) Management, Enterprise, Financial, Technology and Operational Risk Management and Financial Crime. You will develop specialized skills and extensive experience to help clients effectively and proactively manage risks & regulations. You will collaborate within multi-service teams to help our clients envision new ways to address and automate regulatory and risk operations within their organization. You will also challenge yourself to learn and apply new and emerging technologies to solve our clients’ most complex challenges.

About the team

We are the largest Risk & Regulatory consulting practice in Canada. Our Risk and Regulatory team provide end-to-end consultative services to executives and boards, designed to enhance the effective management of Regulatory, Financial & Operational and Financial Crime Risks. We also are continually helping clients optimize their risk and control, and regulatory management capabilities through innovative data & technology solutions and new operating models.

In this role, the expected qualifications are:

  • Working towards completing a post-secondary degree or diploma by September 2025. A business and/or information system/computer science degree is an asset.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder who is passionate and motivated
  • Comfortable working in a team environment with a strong desire to connect with people, and able to deliver work independently
  • A strategic, pro-active person with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to produce clear and concise presentations and reports
  • Self-starter who is able to conceptualize creative approaches and complex solutions
  • Curious and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Dedicated to providing meaningful service to our clients
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; Bilingualism in English and French is required for the Quebec Region
  • Some level of travel may be required
  • Familiarity, interest or experience with Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime (e.g., Fraud, AML), business and technology process improvement and internal or external audit is an asset
  • Familiarity, interest or experience with risk data analytics and visualizations, ERP platforms and/or emerging tools and technologies is an asset

The salary range for this position is $46,500.00 - $70,000.00, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
