Child & Youth Care Practitioner

Effective Immediately Throughout the Academic School Year
Salary Range -
$51,445 - $76,450 - Diploma
$64,253 - $98,397 - Degree
Location(s): Board-Wide - Multiple Locations
POSITION SUMMARY
This position reports to the Superintendent of the respective Family of Schools.
Child & Youth Care Practitioners operate under the direction of the Family of Schools Superintendent or another Superintendent, and under the Supervision of the school Principal, to deliver programs and supports to individuals or groups of students with social, emotional, developmental and self-regulation needs, in collaboration with educators and Support Services Personnel.
Qualifications for Child and Youth Worker
College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care.
Minimum two (2) years of Child and Youth Care practice experience following graduation.
Experience within an educational system preferred.
Membership in the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care.
