As the Sales Leader for the New Construction Market, you will be responsible for leading our sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth. You will leverage your industry expertise to identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in sales leadership within the new construction markets.

What you will do:
  • Identify and target new construction projects and, clients with a high potential for adopting renewable energy and low carbon systems.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.

  • Lead and manage the sales process from lead generation through to contract execution, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring high levels of customer happiness and repeat business.

  • Achieve performance targets and provide ongoing feedback and mentorship to members.

  • Supervise market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the renewable energy sector.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.

  • Establish and supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.

People Leader Accountabilities:
  • Work cooperatively with team members and cross boundary colleagues to complete assigned work safely, accurately and on time while supporting company values and demonstrating key proficiencies.

  • Identifies development opportunities for team members to improve their skills.

  • Leading, managing, motivating, and developing the Sales Team.

  • Performance management, including carrying out performance reviews, mentoring and establishing development plans.

Who you are:Required:
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead sales and build culture for growth and success.

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development and customer engagement with 3 or more years in leadership.

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales performance targets.

  • Familiarity with contract management and legal considerations.

  • Negotiation experience with outside parties.

  • Strong collaborative/team skills for working with various functional areas, external vendors, and various support areas.

  • Valid driver’s license.
