As the Supervisor of the Digital Workplace - Collaboration Team, your primary role will be to oversee and manage the team of IT professionals.

What you will do:

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Set strategic direction and vision for Collaboration applications & new technologies in this space.

  • Ownership of roadmap creation and deployment execution of the latest Microsoft technologies (like Co-Pilot)

  • Provide leadership, direction, development and employee supervision for Collaboration applications (including succession planning and people development strategy).

  • Define performance metrics and monitor performance against the strategy and revise/update strategies as appropriate.

  • Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with peers and peer groups.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and strategic direction to provide superior business support to the enterprise for all productivity tools.

Operational Oversight and Guidance:

  • Provide operational oversight of IT projects and work requests for Collaboration applications.

  • Manage the lifecycle of the client facing IT Infrastructure.

Business Unit Support and Relationship Building:

  • Manage customers’ needs through timely and efficient completion of day to day and project deliverables.

  • Respond to escalations by meeting with vendors, customers, and direct reports on problem diagnosis and resolutions.

Budget Management (Planning, Reviews, Reporting):

  • Assist management in the budgeting process through salary planning, calculating monthly variances, and providing input for new operating and capital projects.

Who you are:

  • College or University degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent.

  • You have minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in an IT strategic business environment.

  • You have minimum7 years of leading a team to deliver support for critical applications.

  • Strong IT background, specifically around Information and Productivity suites.

  • Well-developed expertise in systems architecture, business planning, process analysis, systems analysis, technical analysis, project management, systems implementation, and operations

  • Previous experience leading teams and providing supervision.

  • Experience maintaining vendor relationships and reviewing/procuring vendor contracts.

  • Previous management experience in the development and implementation of IT Service Management functions.

  • IT-related certifications a plus - examples include Microsoft, Cisco and related certifications.
