Enbridge is looking for a highly motivated individual at the specialist level to join our team and work directly with the VMO Manager, TIS Vendor Management Office (VMO). The role primarily involves ensuring effective management of strategic vendor relationships to ensure effective delivery of committed goods and services. This role will contribute to account level and executive level governance forums with a focus on global IT service providers and potential expansion to other IT categories. Read on to know more!

Note: Internally this role is referred to as Specialist II TIS Vendor Management.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) of Technology and Information Services (TIS) vendors with a focus on building, maintaining and enhancing relationships with strategic vendors.

  • Lead and manage a range of vendor related initiatives and relationships varying in scope, complexity and criticality. Serve as the account level point of contact between specified vendors and the business.

  • Facilitate governance forums between Enbridge and TIS vendors to manage and improve vendor performance, and help drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives. Serve as the account level point of escalation for vendor issues and disputes, and drive those issues to resolution.

  • Manage the measurement and reporting of vendor performance, including the creation of scorecards and dashboards that will accurately present performance and spend data.

  • Support Sourcing Strategy, M&A support, Vendor selection, Commercial negotiations, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, Sourcing approvals and Transition oversight in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Improve maturity of vendor management processes and drive best practices within the VMO.

Who You Are:

  • University degree in related field (business, supply chain management, computer science or equivalent) with minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in Vendor Management, IT Service Delivery, or Supply Chain Management with an IT focus.

  • Strong understanding of the entire vendor life cycle (sourcing and vendor management), and how internal roles interact and operate throughout the duration of vendor engagements.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract management and negotiation. Experience leading large-scale or enterprise sourcing activities. Demonstrated experience in identifying contract optimization and cost savings opportunities.

  • Outcomes driven mindset with a relentless focus on process improvements, creating value and improving bottom-line financials.

  • Executive presence and comfortable interacting with both senior and c-level leadership.

  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively with internal clients and stakeholders to drive change.

  • Excellent relationship skills that will facilitate positive vendor behaviors, establish healthy new engagements and deepen existing ones.

  • Strong leadership experience in handling global IT service vendors.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management / multi-tasking skills.

  • Passion for upholding Enbridge's core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion and High Performance along with our ways of working.

Preferred:

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience desired.

  • Certifications related to procurement, supply chain management and vendor management.

Working Conditions:

May involve minimal travel (less than 10%) within Canada and the US.
