We have an opening for an Operations Coordinator for Blackspring Ridge to support the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the generation assets, in accordance with agreed operating plans and budgets.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist the complete implementation of the HSE Management System and contribute to its growth and improvement.

  • Conduct and/or direct the operations and maintenance activities for the balance of plant equipment (turbine switchgear, collection system, substations, transmission line, switchyard, site roads, access ways FAA lighting, Met towers, emergency generators, O&M building, and surrounds).

  • Oversee contractors on site and Record Safety Events through Encompass.

  • Support communications with Power Ops 24/7 monitoring team and the Offtake parties

  • Efficiently maintain and measure annual/quarterly/monthly operations and maintenances schedule actuals vs targets

  • Support preparation of the site’s annual budget and forecasting process.

  • Monitor and schedule inspections and certifications of Wind equipment as required by code, regulations or policy.

Who You Are:

  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in an Operations coordinator role or process plant experience.

  • Prior wind generation plant operations and/or maintenance experience is a strong plus.

  • Technical trade education or certification preferred. Electrical background is desired.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven verbal and written communication skills.

  • Valid driver’s license. Ability to climb wind towers an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Field Office (90%).

  • Field-related duties including emergency response (10%)
