Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located in Laval a back-end developer. The position is permanent, hybrid mode with great benefits.
- Collaborate with your colleagues to develop and define user stories, provide constructive feedback, propose recommendations, estimate necessary deadlines and identify risk areas.
- Design, implement and test software solutions using technologies such as Nest.js, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, BigQuery, Firebase and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Promote quality throughout the development process.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of internal software development processes, testing methodologies and internal validation tools.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g. requirements, designs, architectures, release notes, user manuals, etc.).
- Have at least a college diploma in computer science, with equivalent experience. (A bachelor's degree in a relevant field would be an asset).
- Have at least 2 years of experience as a software developer.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Have at least 2 years of experience with NestJS or Node.js and Angular.
- Have experience with SQL.
- Have a general understanding of distributed computing architectures.
- Have a general knowledge of operating systems (Windows or Linux).
- Have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Google Cloud SDK and the console (asset).
- Have experience with .NET (C#) (asset).
- Have a general understanding of storage and networking technologies (asset).
- Have experience with relational and non-relational databases (asset).
- Experience with the publish-subscribe (pub/sub) model (asset).
- Experience with Google Firebase (asset).
- Experience with BigQuery, including creating tables and datasets, nested and repeated fields, and partitioning (asset).
