Requirements: Bachelor of EducationThe Ideal Candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and experience:Bachelor of EducationAlberta Teaching Certificate, or is eligible to obtain certification in Alberta.Experience teaching in a junior high school setting with knowledge of junior high English Language Arts Program .Knowledge and familiarity with Assessment for Learning, Literacy, and Differentiated Instruction practices.Effective organizational and classroom management skills are imperative.Ability to integrate and use technology in a regular and virtual classroom.Ability to create goals for Individual Program Plans and implement the plan for students.A strong ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.Strong technology skills are required, with knowledge of Google Platform applications and PowerSchool an asset.Flexible TEAM player.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Resumes and other relevant documents will be accepted by clicking on the APPLY tab for the specific posting on the Job Connect and follow the application instructions.
