Position Description:

The purpose of this mandate is :

Job Description:

Assist Agile teams in delivering products or systems with a focus on people, continuous improvement, experimentation and learning, schedule and cost. He/she acts as a facilitator for teams and team members.

You will play a critical role in facilitating, shaping the Agile process aimed at ensuring our teams remain engaged and high performing.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Lead and shape Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices to serve the team in the context of one or a few IT service delivery and/or operations teams.
Help the team structure its backlog so that it can work efficiently, and maintain cohesion with solution delivery and operations teams.
Help teams address obstacles that may prevent them from achieving business objectives;
Build a trusting and open environment that encourages sharing and problem-solving within the team.
Facilitate communications, improve transparency and disseminate information within the team and between groups.
Support team members, particularly in the iterative delivery of value.
Support Product Owners, particularly in backlog management.
Work closely with the team of Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters, to cultivate and build the Agile culture and practices in the organization.
Set up KPIs to better monitor the team's progress.

Your skills

Good skills and knowledge in situational servant leadership, facilitation, systems thinking, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency.
Ability to navigate within different organizational contexts and levels (teams, managers)
Minimum 5 years' experience in IT.
Relevant experience in technology design and IT operations environments (Asset)
At least 5 years' relevant Agile experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
Knowledge of Microsoft TFS (Asset)
Experience in the financial sector, preferably in investment (Asset)

Your profile

The Agile Coach is an integral member of one or more teams who is first and foremost valued by the success of his or her teams. They are skilled in people management and interpersonal communication. They have a knack for helping others and leading meetings.

Facilitators have experience of traditional or Agile project or team management. He or she knows the ins and outs of the processes and main methods of systems or software development. To meet these challenges, the coach must be autonomous, versatile, passionate, dynamic and diplomatic. They must also be skilled facilitators and conflict resolvers.

Coaches know how to manage their time and priorities. They know how to motivate teams and have good negotiating skills. They know how to manage change and recognize its impact.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
