Position Description:

The Digital Media Specialist will be a key member of our Canada Marketing and Communications team, supporting the planning and execution of digital campaigns across lines of business. Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Manage CGI’s Canadian webpages, ensuring content is optimized, aligned with SEO best practices, and selectively localize global campaigns and pages to resonate more effectively with the Canadian audience.
• Work with web analytics using tools like Google Analytics to gather insights and continuously optimize website performance.
• Oversee the copy, design, and production of digital assets for CGI’s marketing programs in Canada across industries, including landing pages, SEO-rich website copy, social media posts, and other assets.
• Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive website traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Handle day-to-day management of CGI’s editorial calendar across digital channels, including planning, posting, ROI analysis, and reporting.
• Support social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns.
• Develop and implement segmentation strategies to effectively target specific audiences through digital campaigns.
• Build and manage campaigns on HubSpot, including lead nurturing, segmentation, and contact list management.
• Define and report on digital and social media metrics that align with CGI’s business and talent acquisition goals, preparing benchmarks and analyzing industry and competitor landscapes.
• Assist in team workshops related to social media, staying up to date with platform best practices through research.
• Breakdown of responsibilities: approximately 35% website management, 45% campaign management, and 20% social media engagement and brand awareness.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 2-3 years of experience in a digital media and social media marketing role, with proven skills in website management and SEO.
• B2B experience preferred, ideally within the tech or consulting industries.
• Proven experience building and managing campaigns on HubSpot (or a similar platform).
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in web analytics and data-driven strategy development.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and campaign tracking.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial).
• Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Bilingual - fluency in both English and French is required.
