This role is hybrid and requires you to be in downtown Toronto office 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Analysis, and Project Management.
• Ensure all aspects of the development life cycle specific to building/integrating applications are followed while maintaining consistency with overall design.
• Customize FileNet solutions in Java leveraging frameworks and tooling.
• Review code written by developers for coding standards, design compliance, adherence to architectural policies, etc.
• Support deployments through Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide support and guidance for FileNet developers and framework users.
• Design, develop, and deploy on Websphere using Weblogic.
• Provide expertise and support for FileNet and ICN development and implementation.
• Address and resolve highly complex and multifaceted development-related issues, often independently.
• Coach and advise clients, partners, and project teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• In depth knowledge of IBM FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Enterprise Record Manager, and IBM FileNet APIs
• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
• 9-10 years relevant experience in FileNet
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Analysis and Project Management.

• Advanced and extensive knowledge of the business (or organization), technical environment, standards, processes, procedures, programming languages and operating systems.
• Readiness and motivation (as valued subject matter expert) to address and resolve highly complex and multifaceted development-related issues, often independently.
• Strength in coaching and advising clients, partners and project teams.
• Commitment to and belief in the quality of your deliverables.
• Knowledge in SDLC (Agile and/or Waterfall). Experience with SAFe framework is an added advantage.
Nice to Have
• Optimize data base performance using Oracle SQL Developer.
• Background in banking OR Financial Institution in North America.
