Description
The Operations Coordinator ensures that customer requests are met by scheduling drivers and assigning the right truck. The position is based in Contrecoeur.
Schedule:
5-4-4-5 (5 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 5 days off)
6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Handle customer requests by phone or e-mail;
- Plan drivers' schedules and ensure their availability;
- Assign the right truck to drivers;
- Follow up on customer requests and ensure customer satisfaction;
- Adapt to changes in customer requests and make last-minute updates;
- Follow up invoicing;
- Solve operational problems and manage unforeseen events;
- All related tasks.
In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:
- Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in transportation logistics or equivalent experience (an asset);
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar position;
- Basic knowledge of transportation;
- Good organizational skills;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated;
- Stress management;
- Priority management;
- Fluency in French (spoken and written)
- Functional English (spoken and written)
