Description
The Director is accountable and committed to the values and objectives of Groupe Robert. This manager is responsible for the planning, organization and results of all the activities related to his/her distribution division.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:- Responsible for the financial results of his sector/warehouse (labor control);
Monitor and control costs/expenses related to the budget; - Responsible for the satisfaction of the division's external and internal customers;
- Creation of new opportunities with existing customers;
- Responsible for coaching and developing team members;
- Set up and participate as needed in HSE committees with his teams and coach his team to maintain the well-established culture;
- Establish and implement the necessary measures to ensure efficient use of manpower according to operations;
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Improve existing processes to reduce costs;
- Participate in the hiring, evaluation and retention of employees;
- Establish and monitor KPIs with the Area Manager;
- Maintain good relations with other Robert Group departments;
- Adhere to the principles of Operational Excellence and act to achieve objectives related to the efficiency of distribution
distribution operations, the quality of customer service and the management of our human resources; - Assist team members in resolving various technical, human and administrative problems;
- Play a key role in maintaining healthy working relationships;
- All other related tasks.
In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in administration or relevant management experience
- 7 years' experience in operations management and supervisory experience in warehousing
- Experience in a unionized environment (Asset)
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Fluency in written and spoken French
- Ability to work in English
- Experience with customer service
- Ability to handle several mandates at the same time under tight deadlines
