Reporting to the Vice-President, Information Technology and Innovation, the Corporate Solutions Director manages solutions in the areas of application development, business intelligence and enterprise resource planning (ERP). He ensures that our corporate technology solutions meet our business needs and support our strategic objectives.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Develop and implement the application strategy and architecture for corporate solutions in alignment with the company's strategic objectives;
  • Lead and manage teams responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of applications for our corporate sector (finance, HR, sales, etc.);
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate these needs into effective technology solutions;
  • Ensure the quality, performance and security of the applications under his/her responsibility;
  • Oversee application development and integration projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget;
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to improve application processes and performance;
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure delivery of high quality solutions;
  • Develop and implement strategies for the integration and optimization of existing applications;
  • Maintain a technology watch to keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in application solutions;
  • Responsible for the financial results of his sector;
  • Responsible for coaching and developing team members;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures;
  • Act in such a way as to achieve objectives related to the efficiency of operations, the quality of customer service and the management of our human resources;
  • Assist team members in resolving various technical, human and administrative problems;
  • Play a key role in maintaining healthy working relationships;
  • All other related tasks.

In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant training/experience
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in managing complex application development projects;
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in personnel management;
  • In-depth knowledge of application development, business intelligence systems, CRM, financial and human resources applications (ERP);
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to solve complex problems and make strategic decisions;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development best practices;
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken);
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • Ability to multi-task within short deadlines.
