Job Description: Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service within the community and provides assessment, treatment and transportation in adherence to Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations and organization policies, procedures and protocols.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent.  Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic/Advanced Care Paramedic currently licensed in the Province of Saskatchewan.  Current CPR level "C".  Current ACLS and PALS.  Current ITLS - Advanced.

Licenses

• Valid Class 4 driver's license and Emergency Vehicle Operations training

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Physically fit

• Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
• Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the selection criteria
