Job Description:
Recruitment and Retention Associates are valuable team members who provide important support for the recruitment team and for health practitioners interested in the opportunities available in Saskatchewan. The Associate will:
- Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, policies, programs, practices and tactics in local, national and international environments.
- Establish and maintain effective external relationships (e.g. employers, regulators, post-secondary institutions) that support collaboration and advance the annual plan and objectives of the Agency.
- Provide specialized and complex information on professional licensure, including required national examinations and assessment pathways, to physicians and health professionals considering Saskatchewan as a place to work/practice.
- Build trusting relationships with students, residents, physicians and health professionals to influence their decision on where to work/practice.
- Utilize, support and troubleshoot software that hosts the job vacancies and candidate profiles to ensure the Agency has the insights needed to promote job opportunities and service customers in the recruitment, training and settlement processes.
- Provide occasional front office coverage for the Administrative Assistant.
Opportunity for advancement to a Recruitment Consultant may be available with experience and demonstrated skillset development.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in human resources or commerce/business administration or other relevant field.

Knowledge and Abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Word and Outlook and basic skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of physician and health professional licensure or immigration would be an asset.
