Horizon School Division is committed to engaging and empowering all learners and prioritizes strong instruction, response to intervention, and wellness.

Hours of work include Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm & Fridays 8:00am - 1:00pm

Warner School is an Early Learning to grade 12 School located approx. 69 km south of Lethbridge, Alberta. Our 18 staff provide a service to approximately 105 students.

We are seeking a candidate for the position of School Administrative Assistant. A rewarding and challenging position, the Administrative Assistant performs the secretarial and administrative duties necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Warner School.

The successful candidate must be child-centered, team-oriented and possess the following traits and qualifications:

Post-secondary training in Office Administration or comprehensive experience in the field.

Excellent computer and time management skills.

Strong communication skills (oral and written).

Ability to coordinate and manage schedules and meetings.

Understand the need for flexibility in a school setting.

Pleasant, helpful, positive, and enthusiastic nature.

Experience, knowledge and understanding of cultural diversity.

Preference will be given to those with training or experience with POWERSCHOOL, ATRIEVE, KEV/School Cash, Google Drive products and experience with Website design.
