Casual Secondary Hall Monitor
We are hiring for the 2025-2026 school year!
The Casual Secondary Hall Monitor reports to the Principal, and works collaboratively with the principal, teachers, and other school personnel to ensure safe and efficient school operations. The Casual Secondary Hall Monitor provides support to students and staff on a daily basis and is scheduled on an as-needed basis, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with an hourly wage of $21.68 plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Circulating throughout the school building while enforcing school rules
- Monitoring washrooms for student activity
- Monitoring cafeteria and lunch areas
- Encouraging students to be prompt in getting to class
- Assist with emergency drills
- Assist with school-wide events such as masses, assemblies, etc.
- Relay information between classroom teachers and the main office as needed
- Assist the administration in keeping the school safe for all
- Assist with the safe departure of students on buses at the end of the day
