NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: STOREKEEPER RECEIVER
Primary Site: Stratford
Casual
(Shifts: days, Monday-Friday coverage, may be subject to change)

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the effective and efficient receiving, shipping, and distribution of supplies, and assisting in restocking of Stores shelves as required

REPORTS TO: Manager, Material Management

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $25.38 to $26.99 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma

Experience:
- Previous experience or post-secondary education in inventory control and management practices preferred
- Recent direct experience in healthcare within the Stores area (centralized storeroom) in Materials Management (MM) preferred

Abilities:
- Efficient and accurate keyboarding / data-input abilities into the Meditech MM module on a frequent basis
- Ability to perform all job functions with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit for materials handling
- Ability to travel between sites as required

Physical Demands:
- Repetitive work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Pushing/pulling, handling/gripping, reaching above and below shoulders
- Ability to stoop, crouch, twist, sit, walk or stand for extended periods
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to warm, humid conditions in summer and cold, dry conditions in winter
