Who you are
•You have basic understanding of building structure and function of an industrial and commercial building, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
•You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position
•You have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing and coordinating with external service providers and internal stakeholders
•You can read and interpret 'As-Built' blueprints
•You have proven skills in developing people, providing support, coaching, training, and career direction to others
•You have the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in the local language in the unit as well as basic English
•You have experience in a facilities management organization, preferably in a high-volume retail sector
•You have an academic degree or professional qualification in Facilities Management (or equivalent) (an asset)
Your responsibilities
•Responsible to make sure that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholders
•Budget management: Thorough knowledge of how to plan, organize and manage costs and expenditures for a business or organization
•Develop your team’s competence and performance, ensuring a succession plan in the unit
•Develop strong working relationship between suppliers and internal stakeholders
•Responsible for all activities related to long term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow up, forecasting and reporting within the FM scope within the unit
•Implement and evaluate supplier contracts at unit level in alignment with internal governance structure for supplier contracts to improve efficiencies/costs/equipment and quality
•Manage relationships with Business owners within the unit to ensure business needs are met by collecting requirements, setting annual goals and periodic follow ups

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $ 70000 to $ 90000 and will be based on relevant work experience.
