Who you are

•You are very results driven and have a passion for sourcing
•You have a degree in either Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business. If you don’t that’s ok! the equivalent in work experience works as well.
•You have 4 or more years of leadership and sourcing experience in a high volume distribution/ fulfilment, retail, logistics or similar organization
•You have experience working on various projects in a leadership capacity, developing business development roadmaps, leading in the unknown, increasing efficiencies and improving on existing practices and processes, all with Sustainability in mind
•You have amazing attention for details and can effortlessly juggle multiple competing priorities while keeping a smile on your face
•You are a total people person who can strike up a conversation easily and build a good rapport with their teammates, matrix and external vendors.
•Your management style can be summed up like this: open door, empowering, strategic and supportive
•You are a very analytical person and you find joy in solving complex puzzles.
•You have knowledge of legislations and regulations governing the transport and services industry nationwide.
•You don’t mind travelling internationally and domestically for work

What you'll be doing day to day

•Ensuring that the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability Agenda is included and considered during all strategic sourcing related activities on Market level.
•Ensuring that the right information flows throughout the organization and that there is alignment with the Group Organization and other business partners and stakeholders on relevant topics
•Lead, coach and develop the market Strategic Sourcing function to secure an inspiring and motivating environment where people and talent are continuously developed including long-term competence building, succession planning and diversity and inclusion
•Accountable for the purchase execution, the quality and the results of the purchase process and the identification and realization of total cost development opportunities on the market.
•Accountable for securing a seamless operation in Fulfilment Sourcing with a customer-centric, collaborative, end-to-end and process-oriented mind-set within the market, towards group functions and other relevant stakeholders
•Have knowledge of laws/ regulations governing sourcing internally and externally to ensure that all contracts and contractual obligations are in compliance with government and IKEA rules and policies
•Enabling the fulfilment of products and core services through all sales channels with great lead times, availability and quality at the lowest possible costs that’s enable an affordable price

The starting rate/salary for this position ranges from $117 150 to $175 725 and will be based on relevant work experience.
