Responsibilities

  • Successfully sign new clients through referrals and inbound leads
  • Manage a book of business assigned, small to medium accounts with few large accounts
  • Find best coverage and premiums for clients
  • Complete renewal reviews
  • Maintain retention target
  • Respond to clients through email, phone or in person

Qualifications

  • Level 1 insurance license in Alberta, Level 2 preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial insurance service and sales managing a book of business
  • Knowledge in various commercial insurance policies
  • Portal experience with insurance companies
  • Familiarity with BMS software
  • CIP, CRM, CAIB designation is an asset
