This is your opportunity to provide strategic marketing and communications advice, guidance and support to the Niagara Escarpment Commission (NEC), NEC Commissioners, the Ministry of Natural Resources, including the Deputy's and Minister's Offices, and other provincial government departments, including Cabinet Office Communications.

What can I expect to do in this role?You will work in some autonomy with various stakeholders and all levels of the ministry to:

• establish partnerships
• design and execute strategic marketing and communication plans and strategies
• provide strategic communications advice
• develop and prepare educational and training materials and tools on a range of issues

How do I qualify?Communication and relationship-building skills:• You have strong oral and written communications skills to provide creative marketing and communications solutions.
• You have strong presentation skills.
• You have excellent consulting, relationship-building, negotiation and customer service skills.
• You are proficient with a variety of common office software to prepare various reports, websites and promotional materials.

Marketing and promotion skills:• You have expert knowledge of marketing, promotion and communications planning techniques.
• You have experience developing, executing and measuring marketing and communications plans.
• You have experience strategically applying communications strategies and tactics to meet a client's needs.

Planning and analytical skills:• You have planning and coordination skills to manage small to medium-sized marketing and communications projects.
• You have group leadership skills to oversee the implementation of communications plans.
• You have analytical, judgment and problem-solving skills to identify issues, client needs and establish priorities.
