What is the opportunity?
As a Bilingual Licensing Officer, you will be responsible for supporting employees through their licensing journey. This will be across all channels (both internal and external advisors)
What will you do?
- Manage all Provincial License Applications Requirements and set up for New and Renewal Applications
- Review and verify document accuracy and completeness of application
- Ensure appropriate Licensing (class, sponsorship and/or employer) is in place for the employee to perform their job function
- Create and maintain all client and licensing records for licensing information in the applicable systems
- Investigate erroneous or risk-related information arising from the due diligence process
- Manage terminated/suspended licenses and E&O on the applicable systems based on status information from regulators
- Manage the end of the day licensing journey with internal partners and regulators
What will you need to succeed?
Must have
- Must be fluently bilingual in both English and French, written and spoken
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills as well as showing flexibility, initiative and resourcefulness
- Excellent time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize within a changing environment
- Team player and the ability to build effective relationships, both internally and externally
Nice to have
- 1 to 2 years of Customer Service experience
- Knowledge and understanding of licensing process and procedures
- Understanding of regulatory requirements as they pertain to licensing
- College or University graduate or business equivalent
