Bilingual Licensing Officer

What is the opportunity?

As a Bilingual Licensing Officer, you will be responsible for supporting employees through their licensing journey. This will be across all channels (both internal and external advisors)

What will you do?

• Manage all Provincial License Applications Requirements and set up for New and Renewal Applications
• Review and verify document accuracy and completeness of application
• Ensure appropriate Licensing (class, sponsorship and/or employer) is in place for the employee to perform their job function
• Create and maintain all client and licensing records for licensing information in the applicable systems
• Investigate erroneous or risk-related information arising from the due diligence process
• Manage terminated/suspended licenses and E&O on the applicable systems based on status information from regulators
• Manage the end of the day licensing journey with internal partners and regulators

What will you need to succeed?

Must have

• Must be fluently bilingual in both English and French, written and spoken
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills as well as showing flexibility, initiative and resourcefulness
• Excellent time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in excel and Word
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize within a changing environment
• Team player and the ability to build effective relationships, both internally and externally

Nice to have

• 1 to 2 years of Customer Service experience
• Knowledge and understanding of licensing process and procedures
• Understanding of regulatory requirements as they pertain to licensing
• College or University graduate or business equivalent
