BI Report Developer to support on EAM Reporting using Power BI, Cognos & Crystal Reports RFC 2025 008

S.i. Systems client is looking for a BI Report Developer to support on EAM Reporting using Power BI, Cognos & Crystal Reports.

7 month contract with chance of extension - 37.5 hours/week - Hybrid (1 day per week on site in New Westminster)

MUST HAVES:

• 5+ years of recent and hands‐on experience in Power BI:

Deep understanding of Power BI desktop and service, including report building, data modelling, and creating dashboards.

Expertise in Power Query for data transformation and M language for writing advanced queries.

Strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating complex calculations and measures in Power BI.

Familiarity with Power BI integration into other Microsoft tools like Excel, SharePoint, or Teams.

• 5+ years of recent and hands‐on experience with Cognos Analytics for EAM:

Experience with Cognos reporting tools (e.g., Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager).

Familiarity with creating and managing Cognos data models, dashboards, and reports for EAM.

• Crystal Reports understanding:

Strong experience in analyzing and understanding existing reports built in Crystal Reports, including data sources, calculations, and visual structures.
