In the role of Generative AI Microsoft Platform Manager, providing excellent customer service to internal clients, such as staff, involves deeply understanding their needs and challenges with AI and Microsoft platforms. This requires maintaining open communication, fostering empathy, and proactively addressing potential issues by staying abreast of AI trends. The manager should implement both immediate solutions, like clear guidance on AI tool functionalities, and long-term strategies, such as comprehensive training and tailored support, to enhance operational efficiency and align AI use with departmental goals. The position demands significant judgment in prioritizing initiatives with the greatest business impact, managing risks such as data privacy, and ensuring ethical use of AI. It also requires high levels of innovation and creativity to design tailored AI solutions that meet needs, drive business transformation, and align with strategic objectives. The Platform Manager must adeptly coordinate cross-functional teams and continuously improve processes to enhance AI adoption, demonstrating strategic thinking and technical expertise while navigating complex organizational landscapes.

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years in AI technologies, IT management, Product Management, or software platform management
• 1-2 years hands-on experience in Microsoft AI tools like Azure AI, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.

Nice To Have Skills:

• Certifications in AI technologies, IT management, product management, or software platform management
• Certifications in Microsoft AI tools, such as Azure AI, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform

Job Description:

• Serve as Canada’s authority on Microsoft’s AI capabilities, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, GitHub, Copilot Studio, and other Microsoft products.
• Stay abreast of Microsoft's roadmap and strategize the optimal timing and method for rolling out new features across Canada.
• Measure and report the benefits of rolling out new features and make data-driven decisions on what to stop, start and continue.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft AI tools by developing employee onboarding and support experiences, including training and communities of practice.
• Build relationships with Global and Microsoft via our Alliance Partnership to advocate for Canada and bring back insights and learnings.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to understand how Microsoft AI capabilities can enhance custom built software products.
• Develop a talent pool internally and a specialized vendor network externally to enable our transformation journey
