S.i. Systems government authority client is seeking a Senior Data Architect with cloud expertise to leverage data lakehouse architectures and design and implement cloud data solutions (AWS and Azure Fabric).

3 - 6 month contract, depending on progress and consultant availability

37.5 hours / week

Hybrid onsite preferred to work with local teams (downtown office)

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Senior level data architect experience with experience implementing AWS cloud
• Esri or similar GIS software data experience

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

• Azure Fabric experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will work with the in-house data architect (data modelling expertise) to provide guidance on how to implement lakehouse data architectures leveraging AWS and/or Azure Fabric. The client is currently using Fabric in a minor way, but want to explore more as it will soon be integrated with Co-pilot. They are also exploring integrating their Esri GIS software with co-pilot.
