Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of an Intermediate Adobe Experience Manager (with experience in AEM Cloud environment) to design and develop a Component Content Management Solution for our Client.

ROLE:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join their team.

In this role, you will join the team responsible for designing and developing a Component Content Management Solution for the Client's Maintenance Manual using the AEM Guides Cloud platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a scalable, efficient, and reusable content management system that supports our Client's RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) processes.

This assignment includes delivering a solution that will:

• Develop templates for all existing RAMS-controlled document types, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Design a solution that propagates revisions of content objects across all documents in which the objects appear, ensuring consistency.
• Support existing RAMS workflows, including document production, review, approval, and publication.
• Migrate 500 legacy PDF documents to DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) structure, supported by the AEM platform.
• Work closely with team members to ensure the solution meets project requirements and is delivered on time.

This individual will work under the guidance of a Technical Lead, report directly to the Manager, Application Portfolios, and collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect as well as junior developers.

The candidate will be required to work 2-3 days a week, on site.

MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), specifically in AEM Cloud environments.
• Proven experience with AEM Guides for creating and managing structured content, including DITA.
• Expertise in CSS and HTML for front-end development and customization within AEM.
• Expertise in JavaScript within AEM and DITA-OT customization.
• Strong understanding of content management workflows, reusable content objects, and content revisions in a CCMS (Component Content Management System).

NICE TO HAVE:

• Familiarity with different AEM flavors, such as AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms.
• Familiarity with DITA content structures, structured authoring.
