Intermediate Project Coordinator with portfolio management experience to work with one of our major insurance clients- 14628


Location: Toronto

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Contract Duration: 18 months (no possibility of extension or conversion to FTE)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hours/week)


Business Group:

  • Department: PMO for group functions
  • Key Area: Portfolio management and annual planning
  • Skills Needed: Project management, finance, and portfolio management

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

· Portfolio Management: Keeping portfolios up to date across seven functions

· Reporting: Monthly reporting to support CIO and operational health status

· Soft Skills: High proficiency in Excel, creating pivots, and monthly status reporting

· Support: Ensuring internal delivery processes are followed


Required Technical Skills:

  1. 5+ years of experience in portfolio management or project coordination
  2. Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello)
  3. Data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
  4. Documentation and technical writing
  5. Risk management and financial management, Scheduling and planning, Quality management and change management
  6. Workflow automation (Power Automate)
  7. Collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom)
  8. Agile and Scrum methodologies
  9. Cloud platforms and database management (SQL)
  10. Risk and compliance tools
  11. ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
