Our client is seeking an Intermediate Application Project Manager to develop project plans and lead a variety of digital and IT projects


Onsite 5 days a week in Edmonton required.


Must Haves:


  • 5+ years of experience within the IT project management space
  • Experience leading multiple projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Vendor management experience


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leading the creation of the detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and then managing the execution of them.
  • Working collaboratively with leaders from the Technology and Innovation team, and from the business team to make trade-offs and balance project drivers to achieve success.
  • Leading the integrated team, coordinating their activities efficiently, establishing accountability with them for work planned and completed, supporting them by making decisions and resolving issues quickly.
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
  • Applying lessons learned to reduce risk and improve delivery.
  • Ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on project progress on a weekly basis, identifying risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Maintain project documentation including project plans, project schedules, risk management plans, action logs, change request logs, stakeholder registers, and progress reports.
  • Manage project scope and ensure that requirements are delivered on time and to the quality standards expected.
