Senior Application/Software Architect to support the design, development, and delivery of a suite of IT applications in the public sector.

Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Senior Application/Software Architect to support the design, development, and delivery of a suite of IT applications. The resource will will contribute to the ongoing development effort, ensure architectural integrity, and support the achievement of project objectives within the broader modernization initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Attend all agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives);
• Collaborate with team members to refine user stories and estimate effort; and
• Create presentations and present to various stakeholders and facilitate meetings and discussions.
• Develop technical architectures, frameworks, code, and strategies to meet the business and application requirements using technologies such as.NET (C#, VB, ASP), Azure Cloud Services, and Entity Framework.
• Define input/output sources, including detailed plan for technical design phase, and obtain approval of the system proposal, utilizing tools like Visual Studio and Git for version control.

Must have:

• Experience with .NET
• Experience with MVC
• Experience with API's
• Experience with Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services
