Our client is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect to provide overall management of ServiceNow platform - 21472

10 months contract, potential for extension, Hybrid in Burnaby, 7.5 hrs per day

Must haves:

• A minimum of 5 years as a business systems expert for ServiceNow Implementations (ServiceNow Releases N-minus-8).
• A minimum of 10 years of implementation of IT business system solutions including IT enterprise architectural documentation experience (Business, Application, Data).
• Extensive understanding and management experience with ITSM and ITOM modules
• ServiceNow System Administration, Advanced Administration or Now Platform Implementation certifications, or relevant experience that demonstrates the equivalent.
• ITIL Foundation Certification. ITIL Intermediate, ITIL Specialist, and ITIL Expert Certification would be an asset.
• Understanding of Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, Powershell Scripting, and HTML/CCS languages.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Business Administration degree

Responsibilities

• Assess current and future enterprise business requirements by liaising with the business and IT stakeholders.
• Manage the creation and ongoing management of a platform roadmap
• Assess vendor solution options for risk, benefits, cost, technical constraints, and opportunities as they relate to the purpose of the platform for the company
• Ensure that applicable frameworks, quality systems, and solution designs provide a proper operational fit for the company
• Liaise with enterprise architecture and business stakeholders to gather input and to reach a consensus on key technology decisions.
• Analyze business requirements and determine technical requirements for systems development.
• Collaborates with application, infrastructure, and security teams to produce architecture and design deliverables.
• Act as a project manager, technical expert and resource allocation by leading the development and implementation of architecture solutions and ensuring seamless implementation.
• Act as an overseeing manager for platform sustainment teams and development teams
• Decide optimal solution for new enhancements and/or break-fix issues that may have a financial impact on the licensing of the platform.
• Provide ongoing technical leadership and support during design, development, test, and service introduction phases including technical specification reviews and approvals.
• Provide briefings to the IT Directors, Senior Managers, and Client Partner Representatives for platform initiatives as required.
