Our client is seeking Senior Systems Analyst (5+ years) to support, maintain and integrate various database support and custom applications in the financial services industry (Remote - Edmonton Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assessing business requirements, analyzing application requirements, preparing options and recommendations, and present these to appropriate personnel
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to create reports and ensure they meet project requirements and brand guidelines
• Creating & executing comprehensive technical solutions that meet business needs which are maintainable and fit within current architecture requirements.
• Providing estimates and impact analysis as input to the business cases for major enhancements or new application development.
• Perform software evaluation and installation/upgrade

Must Have

• 5+ years as a Systems Analyst
• Microsoft OS and App Stack (C#)
• XML
• Powershell
• SQL
• Source code repositories such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure Devops (ADO)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS Reports, or similar reporting development software would be highly desirable
• Agile
• ServiceNow administration & configuration experience
• Operational troubleshooting & maintenance with FileNet
• Financial services, pension administration or pension services industries
