Our Financial Services Client is in need of a Sr. Software Engineering Manager leading Java (Spring Boot) teams in a call center optimization initiative

The Role

Our Financial Services client is enhancing and optimizing their Contact Center practice including initiatives focused on: data efficiency, Salesforce integration/optimization, and AI tool implementation.

• lead and mentor growing teams
• review code to ensure optimal structure
• participate in setting technical direction, championing new technologies, defining infrastructure patterns and managing delivery.
• operational excellence, SRE & DevOps principles, and writing high-quality backend code
• fast-paced organization using Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver modern solutions to meet both customer and operational requirements.

Must Have:

• 2+ years experience leading software engineering teams
• 7+ years experience as a software engineer Java (Spring Boot)
• CI/CD (Jenkins, TeamCity, Helm, CircleCI and Codeship)
• IaaS Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Ansible, Terraform etc)
• Container orchestrations platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift or CloudFoundry)
• Monitoring & alerting systems (Nagios, Dynatrace, Prometheus)
• Scripting languages (Python, Groovy or Go)
• Knowledge of build artifact repositories (Artifactory)
• 2+ years experience with Contact Centre's
• AI experience.

Nice to Haves:

• Previous Banking or Financial Services experience
• Experience with "The twelve-factor app" methodology
• Development and operations of cloud native apps, API gateways, and Service Mesh architectures
• Experience with Security Audits, Penetration tests, Security certifications - ISO 27000 / PCI
