You Are:You are a seasoned engineer with a passion for working in a lab environment and a deep understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits. With over 5 years of experience in post-silicon validation, you are adept at characterizing and debugging complex electronic circuits. Your expertise in programming with MatLab and Python, combined with your solid knowledge of lab instrumentation, makes you a valuable asset to any R&D team. You thrive in collaborative settings, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance product performance. Your meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills enable you to create comprehensive test reports and develop effective hardware solutions for product validation. In addition to your technical prowess, you possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Collaborating with analog designers, systems designers, application engineers, and customers to resolve problems and demonstrate product performance.
- Examining circuit behavior and its limitations in a characterization and/or silicon validation environment.
- Testing products against target standards and specifications.
- Researching and specifying test equipment and components to support defined test plans and methodologies.
- Creating detailed test reports to document findings and recommendations.
- Developing test boards and hardware solutions to support product validation.
- Debugging electronic circuits and investigating product non-conformance issues.
- Ensuring the reliability and performance of Synopsys' high-speed, mixed-signal IP designs.
- Contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology that drives innovation in various industries.
- Enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of product validation processes.
- Providing critical insights that influence design improvements and product enhancements.
- Supporting the successful launch of new products by ensuring they meet stringent quality standards.
- Driving continuous improvement in testing methodologies and validation techniques.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in post-silicon validation, lab instrumentation, characterization, and debug.
- A Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in analog and mixed-signal circuits.
- Proficiency in programming with MatLab and/or Python.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Detail-oriented and methodical in your approach to problem-solving.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about working in a lab environment and continuously improving testing processes.
- Innovative and proactive in identifying and addressing validation challenges.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced R&D setting.
