You are an experienced and passionate Test & Validation Engineering professional with a strong background in electrical engineering. You possess a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, making you well-suited to lead a team of silicon validation engineers. Your expertise in high-speed SerDes IP validation, combined with your scripting skills and hands-on experience with advanced lab equipment, sets you apart. You excel in a collaborative environment, effectively managing schedules and resources to ensure timely validation activities. • Leading a team of engineers responsible for post-silicon electrical validation and debug on mixed-signal multi-protocol SerDes IP.
• Overseeing the development of evaluation scripts, validating circuit block behavior, evaluating results, and debugging issues in an R&D test lab environment.
• Managing schedules and resources to ensure timely and efficient execution of validation activities.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to develop test plans and analysis.
• Providing day-to-day guidance for a team of silicon validation engineers, assigning tasks, and focusing on accomplishing operational plans and results.
• Ensuring compliance with different electrical standards and protocol specifications.

• Driving the successful validation and compliance of high-speed SerDes IP, ensuring product quality and reliability.
• Contributing to the development of cutting-edge IP solutions that enable the way the world designs.
• Enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of validation processes through your expertise and leadership.
• Fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the R&D team.
• Enabling the timely delivery of high-quality products to the market.
• Playing a crucial role in the advancement of Synopsys' technology and its impact on the industry.

• B.S./M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in silicon validation of high-speed SerDes.
• Experience with script-based test automation (Matlab, Python) and strong scripting skills in general.
• Hands-on debug experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, BERTs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with issue and task tracking through Jira/Confluence/Kanban.
• Experience with software version control systems such as Perforce.
