Salary Range: $24.10 - $26.79 per hour (dependent on education/certificate and experience)
Unity Christian School, located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Our Childcare Centre currently operates Preschool and After-school care. Starting in September 2024, we will be adding a full-time daycare facility as part of our Childcare program.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team. The ECE will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, providing a safe and engaging environment, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and their families.
Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and development.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and development.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Adhere to all licensing regulations, health and safety policies, and daycare center guidelines.
Each candidate must be:
a committed Christian
licensed Early Childhood Educator.
